Abstract

This research is motivated by the great challenges faced by modern libraries in maintaining user interest
in the digital era. Information technology and digitization have changed the way people access information,
so users tend to prefer the internet and electronic libraries over visiting physical libraries. To address the
decline in visitation that impacts the quality of services provided, this research aims to describe effective
promotional strategies to increase awareness and utilization of library services. This research proposes
the use of storyboards and scriptwriters as tools to increase the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
The storyboard helps in designing an interesting and easy-to-understand visualization of the story, while
the scriptwriter is in charge of composing a clear and structured narrative. This research uses a qualitative
research method with a descriptive approach. It was concluded that the combination of these two
techniques can create a more engaging and informative promotional campaign, ensuring the library
remains relevant and useful in an increasingly digitally connected modern society.
